Soap Bucket LLC

Developer tools and infrastructure for APIs and AI.

The Story

I've been building enterprise software for a long time, going back to the era when SOAP was the primary transport protocol. Anyone who lived through that remembers the pain: sprawling XML envelopes, brittle WSDL contracts, and requests that grew harder to maintain and manage with every integration.

As the industry moved on to REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and now AI-native protocols, the mess didn't go away. It just changed shape. I saw an opportunity to use the same metaphor for cleaning up enterprise messes. A bucket for the soap. That's how Soap Bucket LLC was born.

A good AI gateway starts with a good API gateway. Most products skip that part. They bolt AI routing onto a thin proxy and call it done, leaving you to stitch together separate tools for security, caching, rate limiting, and everything else. I wanted to build both from first principles. SBproxy is a full API gateway with programmable routing, security, and caching built in. The AI gateway sits on top of that foundation, not next to it. One binary, one config file, nothing bolted on.
